So on Twitter yesterday, Justin Trudeau said:

The days when old men get to decide what a woman does with her body are long gone. Times have changed for the better. #LPC defends rights.

He was referring to his policy that all potential Liberal Party candidates in next year’s election must be Pro-Choice. Who lost their shit? Old men. As an aspiring old man (I’m about the same age as Justin), I don’t see anything wrong with what he wrote. Is it not true that most legislatures are peopled by men approaching their golden years and when legislation affecting women is on the table, it’s men who make the decisions, largely?

No, he wasn’t pushing old men out of the Liberal Party, he was just stating that we’re not the only people who get to make the rules any more. Honestly, get a grip people.

Damn you, Worf. You’d let me go without saying another word, wouldn’t you?

K’Ehleyr. I will not be complete without you.

I don’t think I’ll ever forgive TNG for killing off K’Ehleyr to further Worf’s character arc.
